Everything God does or every entity that He creates serves a purpose. God created us to obey Him, follow His teachings, fulfill His commandments, and more importantly, be nice to His creations. God loves those who love His creations.
Here are a couple more reasons why God put you on Earth in the first place:
To be kind
We were all created by our God to bring kindness into the world. Our God is kind, compassionate, forgiving, and loving toward the entire mankind and He expects the same from his creations. God’s message—the bible—is a message of love and kindness.
God created us to love our spouses, parents, siblings, friends, neighbors, teachers, animals, and the elderly. Life is short and our time on the Earth is very limited. Our God wants us to use it to spread love and happiness, and not jealousy or hatred.
If we look around ourselves, humans are suffering everywhere. Whether it’s poverty, pandemic, war, injustice, or political unrest—our fellow human beings need our help more than ever. Our God expects us to be there for those who are hurting and see what we can do to help them out. Any kindness that we put on in the world eventually comes back to us.
According to the Bible, humans are supposed to look after the world that their God has created.
Value the Earth
God created the Earth and everything on it for His creations—primarily the humans. However, humans are expected to utilize these natural resources for their benefit and not exploit them. Since God expects you to be a caretaker of the Earth and its resources, misusing any of it could be a sin. Think of how you can use these resources to make life easier for those around you. Service to humanity is, after all, regarded as service to God.
Connect with the God
To understand your God and become closer to Him, you need to connect with Him on a spiritual level. One of the most straightforward ways of communicating with your God is to read, recite, and study the Bible. The Bible is God’s authentic message and truly encompasses all of His commandments, teachings, and guidance. Whether you’re looking for guidance in life or need a way forward for your problems, the Bible always has all the answers.
Even though the Bible was written thousands of years ago, the message is still relevant and intact today. If you truly immerse yourself in the Bible, you’d find answers to all of the questions that might be worrying or troubling you.
